Citicoline has been shown to reduce psychoactive effects of THC

Citicoline has been discovered to reduce psychoactive effects of THC.   Dr. Janet Sweeney, Ph.D. says that patients undergoing cannabis extract therapy have reported that citicoline “cuts the high” to a manageable level.

Because of the high levels of THC in cannabis extract, patients often experience intense psychoactive effects such as paranoia and anxiety.  Preliminary research has found that citicoline supplements help improve focus and mental energy and may possibly be useful in the treatment of attention deficit disorder. Citicoline is found naturally in the body.

Corrie Yelland, a cancer survivor, reports that while undergoing cannabis extract therapy the high became very intense.

“Citicoline doesn’t stop you from getting high, but you won’t CARE!” says Yelland. “It works like a charm, stopping any paranoia/anxiety in it’s tracks. Without Citicoline I wouldn’t have been able to get up to the level of cannabis oil I needed to be taking to kill my cancer.”

Corrie knows first hand the healing powers of cannabis.  When told her only option for an aggressive cancer was chemo or radiation she defied all odds and her doctors orders and used only cannabis extract therapy.  Now, Corrie is cancer free and dedicates her ‘new life’ to educating others that “Cannabis Kills Cancer.”  You can listen to her complete story here.

Corrie swears by citicoline, “If a patient is groggy in the a.m., from oil, take a Citicoline. In about 10-15 minutes, they’ll snap right to. That’s what I do practically every morning.”

According to Web MD:

Citicoline is a brain chemical that occurs naturally in the body. As a medicine, it is taken by mouth as a supplement or given by IV or as a shot.

Citicoline is used for Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, head trauma, cerebrovascular disease such as stroke, age-related memory loss, Parkinson’s disease, attention deficit-hyperactive disorder (ADHD), and glaucoma.

How does it work?

Citicoline seems to increase a brain chemical called phosphatidylcholine. This brain chemical is important for brain function. Citicoline might also decrease brain tissue damage when the brain is injured.

In the US, citicoline is marketed as a dietary supplement. You can purchase citicoline on amazon or most local nutrition stores.
