Watch: The Cannabis vs. Alcohol Challenge (Which one’s safer?)

World famous comedian, cannabis activist, and host of The Panic Hour, N.A. Poe challenges two teams to represent their drug of choice and push the limits of alcohol and cannabis consumption in this friendly face-off.

“We’re going to be taking two people consuming cannabis and two people consuming alcohol for two hours and see what happens.” -N.A. Poe

It all started with a Philly comedian…

Good times are in play…

With each team equally consuming over 2 hours…

And then things start to get crazy…

and needlessly expensive.

Both teams are having a good time.

Until the consequences set in. Well, at least for one team.

So, here’s what we learned from this social experiment…

According to recent reports by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “Excessive alcohol use led to approximately 88,000 deaths and 2.5 million years of potential life lost each year in the United States from 2006 – 2010, shortening the lives of those who died by an average of 30 years.”

The CDC reported the number of Americans who fatally overdosed on cannabis last year was noteworthy as well: ZERO. Thankfully, we know from physicians and psychiatrists that “one of the many exceptional features of cannabis is its remarkably limited toxicity”,

This social experiment tested the extremes of both cannabis and alcohol. The results are in, cannabis is safer than alcohol.
