Statewide Cannabis “Drive & Sign” Hits Arkansas This Weekend

At nearly 100 locations throughout Arkansas on Friday April 15th and Saturday April 16th registered voters will have a chance to sign the 2016 Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act and help bring natural medicine to the natural state.

The 2016 Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act was certified by the Arkansas Attorney General (Dustin McDaniel) in September of 2014 and Arkansans for Compassionate Care have been collecting signatures ever since. In order to be on the ballot they need 67,887 valid signatures from registered Arkansas voters.

The Arkansans for Compassionate Care campaign reports they have already collected over 68,000 signatures for the measure. With this “sign and drive”, volunteers anticipate reaching over 80,000 signatures.

The event is simple, voters don’t even have to get out of their car, volunteers will bring the petition right to their car. The entire process takes less than 60 seconds!

“The AMCA is a comprehensive blueprint for establishing and regulating a medical cannabis program in Arkansas. This is not a recreational measure.” – Arkansans for Compassionate Care
