“Eat your leafy green vegetables every day,” our parents lovingly admonished us. Little did they know how right they were.
As it turns out—and it’s fun to think about how this news would horrify many of them—cannabis is as beneficial to your overall health as spinach, kale, or arugula. Moreover, it should be “consumed every day by everyone, beginning at birth.”
That’s the medical opinion of trailblazing cannabis physician William Courtney M.D., who considers the freshly-squeezed juice of the cannabis plant to be an essential nutrient in the daily diet of all humans. “It is the world’s most important vegetable,” he says.
World’s Most Important Vegetable
Yes, in its fresh, raw, unheated form, cannabis is a veggie. Surprisingly, it contains virtually no Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and so cannot get anyone high. There is no psychoactivity in the fresh, raw plant or its juice, because the cannabinoids are their so-called “acid” form. This does not mean they are psychedelic. Just the opposite.
There are four important cannabinoid acids that are worthy of special note here. Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGa) and Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGa) are potent anti-inflammatory agents; Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCa) and Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa) inhibit cancer cell growth, apparently acting both preventively and as a remedy.
As a bonus, CBDA, like the first two compounds, is also excellent for fighting chronic inflammation, the cause of nearly all debilitating disease. If consumed daily from early childhood, these cannabinoids could conceivably make chronic diseases a part of medical history. And again, none of the compounds exhibits any psychoactive potential or side effects, making them powerful and dietary supplements essential even for very young children.

All of humanity should have raw, fresh cannabis in their daily diet, the best preventive medicine known.

That backward logic is the root of the problem.
It is exciting to see the world’s consciousness gradually shifting and freedom of access to cannabis gaining favor among the general public, medical professionals, and politicians. But, like the minds of those opposed, change is still painfully slow and not broad enough. Pain and disease proceed to run rampant while the world’s people could instead be thriving from the world’s greatest vegetable.
